• Adoption is not the same as foster care. In fact, you can choose your baby’s family, if you desire.

• There is no rush. You don’t have to decide today if you want to make an adoption plan - in fact, the agencies we recommend will help you decide if adoption is even right for you and help you plan for either path you choose - parenting or adoption.

• You are not alone.  We can help you get started learning more about adoption and if you would like, a counselor from an adoption agency can meet with you here at the center. You can receive support for as long as you want.

• The relationship doesn’t end.  You get to choose how much of an ongoing relationship you have with your child, or if you don’t want to have one at all.
